NDRC Calls on House to Reject Extreme Anti-Voter Bill

Washington, D.C. — Today, John Bisognano, President of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), issued the following statement ahead of a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives on the SAVE America Act:

“After launching a national gerrymandering crisis, Republicans are now pushing to nationalize voter suppression by making it nearly impossible for millions of eligible American voters to register to vote. It’s no coincidence that, as opposition continues to build against their incredibly unpopular agenda, congressional Republicans are now aiming to shut the American people out of participating in our democracy. The House should reject this extreme anti-voter measure.”
