Washington, D.C. — Today, Eric H. Holder, Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States and Chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), announced his endorsements in the 2026 Wisconsin gubernatorial and state legislative elections. These endorsements are part of the NDRC’s Democracy Defenders program, a campaign supporting candidates running for state-level offices critical to safeguarding and strengthening democracy. The full list of endorsements can be viewed HERE.

“This November, Wisconsinites have a chance to put a final end to the anti-democracy, pro-special interests legacy of Scott Walker and Robin Vos and elect a state government that is committed to protecting and enhancing democracy and affordability in the Badger State,” said Eric H. Holder Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States and Chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC). “For too long, Wisconsin Republicans in the legislature have pursued unpopular, unjust policies that are beholden to the extreme MAGA agenda coming out of D.C., from embracing election denial to pushing extreme voter suppression measures and backing tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy, all while too many Wisconsinites are in the midst of a cost of living crisis. It is time for this MAGA minority rule to end.

“In stark contrast, David Crowley has dedicated his career to serving his community, improving the lives of its citizens, and protecting the rights of all Wisconsinites. Now is not a time for timidity.  Wisconsinites deserve bold leaders committed to serving the people in this moment of grave danger for our democracy—and, if elected, David Crowley and democracy defender candidates running for the Wisconsin State Legislature will meet this moment. Complacency, non-participation are not options. The choice is clear: vote to elect David Crowley to be Wisconsin’s next governor and to elect these Democracy Defenders to the Wisconsin legislature.”
