Eric Holder Endorses Doron Clark for the Minnesota Senate

January 27, 2025

Washington, D.C. — Today, Eric H. Holder, Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States and Chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), announced his endorsement of Doron Clark for the Minnesota Senate. This endorsement is part of the NDRC’s Democracy Defenders program, a campaign supporting candidates running for state-level offices critical to safeguarding and strengthening democracy.

Eric H. Holder, Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States and Chairman of the NDRC, released the following statement endorsing Doron Clark for the Minnesota Senate:

“This election is crucial to the fight to protect democracy in Minnesota. Despite the fact that Minnesota Republicans failed to win the state House majority and lost the state House popular vote, they attempted an arrogant power grab to achieve artificial power—this anti-democracy agenda must be thwarted, starting with electing a pro-democracy majority in the Senate.

“Minnesotans have the power to send a clear message at the ballot box this week by electing Doron Clark to the Minnesota Senate to protect the chamber’s pro-democracy majority and provide a crucial check in the legislature. He will put his community first and protect the rights of the people. With democracy at stake, be sure to get out and vote for Doron Clark for the Minnesota Senate on January 28th.”
