February 6, 2024

Washington, D.C. – Today, Eric H. Holder, Jr., the 82nd Attorney General of the United States and Chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), issued the following statement announcing his endorsement of Jim Prokopiak for State Representative in Pennsylvania’s February 13 special election to fill the vacated seat representing the 140th House District:

“In a time when state legislatures are at the forefront of protecting democracy and individual rights and with the Pennsylvania House majority at stake, voters in House District 140 cannot afford to be complacent in this month’s election. The choice is clear: with over a decade of experience serving his community, Jim Prokopiak is best-equipped to represent Lower Bucks County in the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Jim will not only help defend and enhance our democracy, he will also deliver results for his community. He will put his constituents first by creating more good-paying jobs, strengthening public education, expanding access to affordable housing, and protecting reproductive rights. On Tuesday, February 13, voters in the 140th House District must make their voices heard and elect Jim Prokopiak to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.”
